When addressing housing in the State, the most alarming statistic is the homelessness rate. In January 2023, it reached a historic high, marking the seventh consecutive monthly increase. The Department of Housing’s latest monthly report revealed that at the beginning of 2023, 11,754 individuals were residing in emergency accommodations.

            Millennials, who missed the opportunity to purchase homes at the lowest prices a decade ago, now face difficulties in affording both a downpayment and mortgage repayments in Ireland. The Irish Central Bank mandates a 10 percent downpayment for first-time buyers and imposes loan-to-income limits, capping borrowing for these buyers at four times their gross income.

The goal is to leverage these innovative technologies to foster a more comprehensive and integrated approach to the construction process.

This remote tracking feature facilitates construction progress oversight across multiple housing sites and supports off-site drivers when needed.

It is founded by Colm Casey and Dr. Constantin Gurdgiev, tackling Ireland’s housing crisis through advanced technology and algorithms that connect buyers and sellers while mitigating construction risks. They maintain a database of potential residents near transportation lines, spurring infrastructure development. The company also focuses on unconventional construction financing in previously underserved areas, made possible by their innovative models.

            The housing crisis posing in Ireland can be significantly ameliorated with tech-based start-ups and companies by streamlining construction processes and optimizing costs. Similarly, pre-fabricated construction companies can also explore offering solutions.
